Karin D. Garell

Chief Financial Officer & Secretary

Karin followed a family legacy to UCLA, where she graduated from the College Honors Program with a B.A. in Mass Communications,  Phi Beta Kappa, Magna Cum Laude. She continued her studies and graduated with a J.D. from UC Berkeley's Boalt Hall School of Law.

Upon graduating, Karin joined the land use planning division of the real estate department of the San Francisco office of Brobeck, Phleger & Harrison. She later returned to Southern California and practiced with the Los Angeles office of Sonnenschein, Nath & Rosenthal in numerous areas including contracts, trademarks, environmental and insurance coverage. Karin took a leave from the practice of law after starting a family.

Karin grew up in San Diego and now resides in Newport Coast, California with Jeff and their three children. Karin enjoys family time, playing tennis, skiing, cooking, reading and volunteering at school and church.
