    What is “Financial Planning”?

Financial planning is the process of meeting your life goals through the proper management of your resources. Life goals might include saving for your child’s education, planning for retirement, or funding an imp0rtant charitable project. Together, we’ll create the necessary steps for reaching your aspirations.

  • Your Financial Planning Benefits

You get the peace of mind knowing your Plan connects you with your purpose, delivering strategies to achieve those aspirations. Put differently, financial planning answers the question "what do you want and how do you get there?" Our process helps you better understand how each financial decision affects other areas of your life. By viewing each financial decision as part of a whole, you can consider its short- and long-term effects on your life goals. You can also adapt more easily to life changes and feel more secure that your goals are on track. After all, your life is not a destination, but rather a journey requiring guidance and adjustments over your lifetime.

  • What does it cost?

The cost of a financial plan is based on the scope and detail of the work required by you. We charge $2,500 for a financial plan that includes 10 hours of planning. If the scope and work of your plan goes beyond 10 hours, we charge $250 per extra hour.

Annual plan updates generally require about 2 hours of planning work, which costs $500. Additional hours are billed at a rate of $250 per hour. We provide free annual updates to clients with invested assets of at least $500,000 with our firm.

  • The Silversage Financial Planning Process

    1. Establish and define the relationship with you

Mutually agreed-upon objectives help define responsibilities for you and Silversage Advisors®. Together, we will identify your personal and financial needs, priorities and goals. Your interests are always put first.

    2. Gather your data

Through insightful discussion and questionnaires, we gather quantitative data (i.e. numbers) and qualitative information (like your feelings and concerns) for analysis and review.

    3. Analyze and evaluate your financial status

We objectively analyze and evaluate your information to better understand your financial situation. We discover your current financial resources to achieve your financial planning goals, as well as weaknesses that need attention.

    4. Develop and present financial planning recommendations

After considering your current financial posture, Silversage Advisors® identifies relevant strategies to meet your goals. If more then one strategy is possible for a given goal, we help you evaluate and rank the viability and strength of each strategy.

    5. Implement the financial planning recommendations

After we mutually agree on the planning recommendations, we determine the responsibilities for each party in order to implement the plan.

    6. Monitor your plan

It is important to keep your plan on track and adjust for any of life’s changes. We monitor your progress annually, generally in an Annual Review meeting, or more frequently as your circumstances dictate.
